I studied archaeology at the University of York where I achieved my BA as well as an MA in Field Archaeology. I joined Allen Archaeology as a trainee and can usually be found out in the field excavating features as well as washing finds from sites of all periods. Working with any old artefact excites me but I have a particular fondness for Roman pottery and Viking age jewellery.
