Charlie joined Allen Archaeology as a Project Archaeologist in 2025 and had previously been a Trainee Project Archaeologist with York Archaeology (Nottingham). Charlie has a BA in Ancient and Medieval History from Swansea University and an MA in Medieval History from the University of York. Additionally, Charlie holds a particular interest in burial archaeology and pursued this through a course in Osteoarchaeology with Universiteit Leiden. Prior to their studies, Charlie volunteered with the Stoke-on-Trent Museum Archaeological Society.
