Mary graduated from the University of Sheffield with an MSc in Osteoarchaeology, having made the unexpected move into commercial archaeology after studying Zoology at the University of Lincoln. She joined Allen Archaeology in 2025 as part of the post-excavation team. With a particular interest in zooarchaeology, she is rarely happier than when surrounded by bones.
