Joshua studied history at the University of Lincoln, writing his dissertation on the First Roman Jewish War. After graduating university in 2023 he worked in Rome in archaeological archives before returning to the UK to develop a career in professional archaeology. He enjoys geophysics and archaeological excavations, especially when they are associated with  Roman settlements!
