Position: Senior Project Officer/Manager
Location: Head Office (Branston, Lincolnshire)
Renumeration: Dependent on experience, but above April 2012 IfA salary minima

Due to an expanding workload Allen Archaeology Ltd are looking to employ a Senior Project or Manager with immediate effect. The post would be based primarily at our head office in Lincolnshire, for forthcoming fieldwork primarily in the region, but with the opportunity to be involved in projects throughout the UK.
We are primarily interested in candidates with an enthusiasm and strong ability in field archaeological practices, a willingness to work on their own, or as part of, or leading, a team. He/She should have a sound knowledge of British archaeology and be computer literate, including Microsoft Office and drawing packages such as AutoCAD and/or CorelDraw. The candidate should also have at least 2 - 3 years recent experience at Project Officer or higher level, and we particularly welcome applications from candidates with additional skills (e.g. GIS or artefact specialisms.
A clean driving license and own transport will be essential, and membership of the Institute for Archaeologists is desirable.
The post includes employer's contribution pension, statutory sick pay and 28 days per year paid leave pro rata (inclusive of Bank Holidays).

Position: Project Archaeologist
Allen Archaeology also requires additional field staff to join our existing team on projects in the East Anglia region. Contracts will be for an initial 1 month period, with the potential for additionla employment beyond this. A minimum of six months experience in commercial British archaeological fieldwork is required for the posts, and renumeration is based on AAL pay grades A2.1 - A2.3, dependant on the level of experience (above April 2012 IfA salary minima). The post includes employer's contribution pension (after three month qualifying period), statutory sick pay and 28 days per year paid leavle pro rate (inclusive of Bank Holidays).
