Maria joined Allen Archaeology after moving from Sweden in 2007. In 2009 she began supervising sites, and as time has passed she has moved to increase her focus on specialising in standing buildings recording, CAD, GIS and digital imaging. Maria is a member of the Historic Farm Buildings Group.
