Deborah undertook her undergraduate degree at University College Cork, subsequently working for a commercial archaeology company in Ireland.

After a career break during which she continued her studies and volunteered with the Lincolnshire Archives, she joined us as a Project Archaeologist in 2016 and became a Project Officer in 2023 after working on a large excavation at Melton Mowbray.
