A 1 hectare site excavated in advance of the construction of a gas exploration site revealed activity dating from the Mesolithic to the post-medieval

An archaeological evaluation by trial trenching took place in Lincoln in advance of a residential development. The works revealed Roman, Saxon and post-medieval activity. Most interesting was the discovery of a Roman flute made of bone!

RAF Elsham Wold

A photographic survey was undertaken of disused buildings at a former RAF airfield in North Lincolnshire prior to their demolition

An evaluation after a desk based assessment identified a probable Roman kiln, as well as several phases of stone walls associated with a high status merchants residence of 14th century date

An archaeological evaluation by trial trenching was carried out in advance of the construction of a proposed new car park at this National Trust property near Chesterfield.

Healing Road, Stallingborough, North-East Lincolnshire

A programme of geophysical survey and trial trenching was carried out in advance of a residential development on a green field site. Medieval ridge and furrow was recorded, as well as early Anglo-Saxon features containing possible ritual deposits of animal bone.
